Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account details: your email address and name.
- Content you contribute: photos, check-ins, favorites, claim details, and stand information you add.
- Location data: your approximate location, only when you choose to use map features like "use my location".
- Usage data: basic information about how you interact with the app.
How we use it
- To operate the app's features, such as the map, search, and favorites.
- To display public community content like photos and check-ins.
- To verify stand ownership claims.
- To keep your private lists (favorites, claim details) visible only to you.
- To maintain safety and prevent abuse.
What's public vs. private
- Public: stand listings, photos, and check-in activity are visible to other users.
- Private: your favorites list and claim request details are visible only to you and the review team.
- Protected: stand operator contact details are shown only to signed-in users, to protect them from scraping.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that host and operate the app, or when we are legally required to do so.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active or as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Our security measures
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypting data in transit between your device and our servers.
- Access controls that keep private data — your favorites and claim details — visible only to you, with claim information restricted to you and the review team.
- Protecting stand operators' contact details by showing them only to signed-in users, reducing scraping and spam risk.
- Collecting the minimum data needed to run the service, and never selling personal information.
- Limiting administrative review of sensitive information to a small, verified team.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. See the California Privacy Rights (CCPA) and European Privacy Rights (GDPR) pages in Settings for details.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time.
